kind of quality can I expect?
IN COMICS: We have been in
the business of selling comics nationally and internationally for over eighteen
years. We were formerly known in the retail business as BURIED UNDER
BOOKS and AFAB as a wholesaler. We have since sold the store and are now in the
process of cleaning out the balance of the warehouse. This consists
mostly of ‘80’s & ‘90’s type product plus some overflow that could not be
stored at the retail outlet. Unfortunately, our better product (Gold &
Silver Age Issues) were sold at the BRIMFIELD ANTIQUE SHOWS, Paper mania, New
Haven Antiques Shows and many other antiques & ephemera shows over the past
8+ years.
PAPERBACKS, ADVERTISING
AND OTHER PAPER MEMORABILIA: In the
paper ephemera arena, we were known as GHOST TO GHOST up until
1994 and had been involved in several major Antique and Paper Memorabilia
shows. Our products have been featured at the same shows as mentioned above, as
well as many smaller shows. We will not be posting this product until we
get the comics under control. Comics we have in the hundreds per issue.
Paper ephemera, although in the thousands of items, have to be listed
individually.

Yes, we do have a minimum order
policy. It takes time to pull the product, package & ship it. This is labor
intensive; therefore our minimum order is $10.00 (+handling for very small
orders) and a minimum of 5 issues per title, unless specified otherwise. If you
see only one comic you want, we will ship according to our minimum payment
terms. Always send us an e-mail first and we will respond with your total
charges.
We

All payments must be in U.S funds, drawn on a U.S. bank, received and
cleared prior to shipping. Payments may be made by Money Order, Bank Check or
Paypal. Currently we are not accepting E.F.T.’s or C.O.D.’s. Personal &
business checks will be accepted from known customers. If you are not known to
us and wish to do business with a personal or business check, please provide us
with a couple of trade references where we can verify your standing. Upon
approval, we will send you an e-mail. We don’t want to be difficult to do
business with; we just want to protect our assets. It costs money to follow
rubber checks. Foregoing the above, we will ship on personal or company check
as soon as it clears our bank.
We will include all related
shipping and handling charges in any quote we send you. We normally ship via
USPO Media rate for packages with total weight of less than 55 pounds per
package. If over 55 pounds per box, we will ship UPS. Of course, you can always
specify a shipping method, and if reasonable, we will comply. All shipping
charges will be rounded up to the next pound. (e.g.: 30 comics weigh approx. 4
¼ pounds, will charge at 5 pounds to allow for variance)
Insurance is optional and will be quoted upon request. Charges vary
with carrier.

the Continental United States,

It all depends on the size and complexity of the order. Typically, we
try to ship within 2-3 business days after payment confirmation.
We strive to select only those comics that are in Very Fine or better
shape. Over 85% of our stock is in NM (near mint) condition. It came in from
the distributors and the excess went into storage. Generally, if it isn’t in at
least VF (very fine) condition, we will let you know beforehand. Lesser stock
is sold in bulk or on demand as fillers.
Wholesale and bulk deals are excluded
from this guarantee. Other guarantees may apply to that market and will be
handled on a case by case basis.
